Brentwood Concrete provides concrete contracting services to residential and commercial customers in Brentwood, CA and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to concrete driveway building, patio construction, stamped concrete, sidewalk building, garage floors, retaining walls, foundations, pool decks, steps, and concrete cutting. The scope of work for any individual project is defined by a written estimate or contract agreed upon by both parties before work begins.
All estimates provided by Brentwood Concrete are free of charge and non-binding until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of the on-site visit. Final pricing may change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed, if the customer requests changes to the scope of work, or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before additional work begins. Verbal authorizations are not binding on Brentwood Concrete.
Project start dates are scheduled in good faith but may be subject to change due to weather conditions, permit delays, material availability, or crew scheduling. We will notify you as soon as possible of any changes to your scheduled start date.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled start date may result in a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred. The specific fee, if any, will be stated in your written agreement.
Payment terms are specified in the written agreement for each project. In general:
Overdue balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law.Brentwood Concrete reserves the right to place a mechanics lien on the property for unpaid balances as permitted under California law.
Where required by local ordinance, Brentwood Concrete will obtain necessary building permits before work begins. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be included in the project estimate. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any homeowners association approvals or other third-party approvals required for the project are obtained before work begins. Delays caused by missing third-party approvals are not the responsibility of Brentwood Concrete.
Brentwood Concrete warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Any warranty terms specific to a project will be stated in the written agreement.
Concrete is a natural material that will develop minor surface cracking over time. Hairline cracks that appear during the normal curing process or as a result of normal settlement are not considered defects. We are not responsible for damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to soil movement from causes unrelated to our work, vehicle overloading beyond the specified design weight, acts of nature, or damage caused by the customer or third parties.
Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, Brentwood Concrete makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brentwood Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.
Brentwood Concrete reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page, with the effective date updated accordingly. Your continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
